We are frequently discussed by parents, teachers, media outlets and so on; but rarely are we understood.
Many fail to recognise the need for understanding how we are wired – and why. There’s a need for a collection of ideas, avenues for research, for critical discussion and analysis – yet little available outside of specialist publications or academic circles. While older generations need to become tolerant of our differences – younger generations have an greater need to foster self-awareness. Generation Y must acknowledge responsibility for facilitating awareness in older generations, grow more vocal and more critically engaged.
